Deere promotion

I received a mailing from Deere that shows financing at 0 down, 5.9% and reduced payments for 36 months, plus $1200 rebate. A 4310 with FEL would have a payment of around $235. Program good till 7/31/2002...

Is this pretty standard or will it really go away July 31 as they say?

The Big 3 mfr. pay a game of Tag... currently Kubota who seemed to have started the latest round of "rebates" will end July 31st as will JD & NH...

Now, if someone decides at the last minute to "extend" their program... then of course normally the other 2 follow suit... /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

This is a "down" year for tractor sales in general from all indications (part of that 7 year cycle)... so any program that can promote sales and move product is good... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I looked at the Deere website. The program you describe appears to be for Lawn and Garden tractors only, not the compacts such as the 4xxx series.
There is a promotion for the Compact tractors too, but it requires 20% down.

Of course, the Deere website may not be up to date.

The program was pretty clear about applying to the 4000 Ten's, and was part of a mailer that was specific to them. you are probably right that the site isn't up to date.

I forgot to add; you also get a free cap (no purchase necessary) It is green.

I had requested lit on the 4000 TEN's, A coupon for the cap came with it, but you HAVE to test drive one of those machines. I guess I could be forced to.../w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

I dunno, I went to their site and filled out the lit request form in the 4000 TEN zone. It took a while to get it.

Or, maybe it was when I filled out the little form that drops down from their banner ad on TBN... That wasn't that long ago, when I did that...
