deere rotary cutter on bx23?

An odd match perhaps but I located a used LX4 deere rotary cutter at a local dealer for $800.

1. is that a decent price
2. would it be able to be run off the bx23 without there being any fighting between the orange and green?

Was quoted $1000 for an LX6 when I purchased tractor one year ago, course that was with buying a tractor... what they are today I don't know...

Steel's gone up, but for a used light duty mower, you may want to check around a little more... is it like new? You'd be able to tell with the 1/8 inch steel on those...

If you buy it, just don't let them breed!
