Deere/Scotts 42" bagger question

I just bought a used Scott's 17.542 and am looking for a bagger. I saw one on Craigslist for a 16hp 42" Scott's.

Do both use the same bagging bagger?

That could be a real tough one to answer.

I'd suggest making a deal with the CL seller, that you will buy it if it fits. Maybe take your machine there and check it out.

Or possibly find yours and his on jdparts (don't know) and check the attachments for similarity in part no.s
