Deere talks to dealers with abbreviations and acronyms sometimes. They have two that I don't know what they mean. Do you? They are D-TAC and PIP

Or something like that. I probably spelled them wrong.

PIP
Thanks for the link. The second sentence says....

PIP is JD parlance for Product Improvement Program, which is code for recall

With some snooping around I found I spelled D-TAC wrong. It is spelled DTAC and means...

From factory to Dealer Technical Assistance Center, (DTAC) enables dealers to provide resolutions to product concerns and assist dealers in fixing your machine.

D-TAC - Dealer Technical Assistance Center

It is a place in the Deere system where dealers can search for problem solutions, both with machines and parts, it is also where a dealer "prepares" a case to submit for assistance with a problem they couldn't correct on their own

I know DTAC & PIP has been in existence since the mid 70's when I was a dealer service manager

I was in a Golf and Turf dealer for about 16 years, when they brought out all the electronics and computer crap, we were on there everyday!
