Deet stain removal?

I had one of my employees try the clay bar and it seems to have worked well. I will be able to tell for sure when the sun shines just right on the windshield, like late in the afternoon.

I sent an email to SC Johnson (the makers of OFF!) last night, and they called me today. They asked lots of questions and even offered to send me $50 for cleaning, but I declined that because I'm not sure if the "OFF!" really caused the problem. I told her that I just wanted to know if there was anything they could recommend to remove deet stains from glass, and they did not have an answer.

And, if you read the fine print on the can, it does say that it should not be sprayed on plastic, glass, leather, etc.

A damp cloth lightly dipped in fine wood ashes makes a good cleaner. That's how we clean our wood stove door glass.

Next time try oven cleaner, you will be pleasantly surprised.
It is also my 'go to' for my brass andirons.
