Hey,
I have a 2 year old 4035 that I just love. I put about 100 hr a year on it. It's all ways been inside my garage and this spring I noticed hyd. oil on the floor. I crawled under it and found a hose that seemed to be dripping. I drained the oil, removed the hose and when I would bend it I could see cracks in the hose. I took it to the dealer and he ordered one for me. I went to put the old hose back on and noticed a couple more hoses of the same material leaking too. The dealer came to look and said he would order and replace all the hoses made of that "plastic" looking material on warranty.
I was wondering if any one else had a problem with this? The wrapped, rubber looking hoses are all fine, just the shinier looking ones are the ones leaking.

Not specifically the same as your problem, but on my 7520 I have had hoses go bad that are routed thru the loader arms. They were in protective sleeving even. No visible damage at all ... the hose inner liners just sprang a leak well away from the end fittings. A bad batch from Parker I guess.
,,,,I dont have any of the plastic looking hoses. Are they hi pressure lines with steel braid in them? Whatever type, hoses routed below are at risk of being pinched and would then fail before long.

No, not high pressure lines. They are underneth but nothing has pinched them. They look like a weather checked tire does. Real fine cracks all over the hose.

I've got a one year old 4530 that is at the dealer now, having the fuel lines and fuel pump replaced. The tech told me that they have had some issues with fittings leaking on the fuel lines but mine was the first fuel pump problem he had seen. I've had a number of issues with the tractor and the tech wanted to take it to the shop to go completely through it. I'll have them check the hydraulic lines while he has it.

Thanks for the heads up on the hoses.

My tractor has 29 hrs on it.

My fuel lines just started leaking as well on my two year old Mahindra 4035. Fortunately they started about 5 weeks before the warranty was up. Really no reason for it as they weren't rubbing up against anything. One line was leaking at the crimped fitting and the other had a small leak through the braided line.

The fuel filler neck hose started leaking on mine. Cracked right thru down just above where its hose clamped at the tank. No chafing - no sunlight -- cheap rubber.

Well, I stopped by the dealers and the parts were in. Couple of hoses and some steel lines. Seems there was an upgrade. I noticed a fitting change to straighten out a hose, and I suspect the steel lines replace hose but I'm not sure. I expressed my concern that if the hose material has not changed we might be looking at this again in a couple of years. He said that the problem was documented and that Mahindra would come good beyond warranty. He should be able to get to it this coming week.

I am having this problem on the lines from the tank as well, dealer will change out all the lines. Was just at the shop about 6 months ago for a leaking injector,, if they knew the lines would go bad, just should have replaced them then, now more money to the towtruck driver...grrr,,,,,only have 167hrs...love my tractor but wondering what other known issues are around the corner....that havent been addressed yet.....

What are these hoses made out of? It sounds like some sort of plastic but I was curious if there is a name to the material.
