Del Morino Flipper Flail Mower, belt tension adjustment

I just got a Del Morino Flipper flail mover. FLI 214 MMSS. What would one set the belt tension to or how would you figure it out? The manual basically says adjust it correctly. It is a 3 belt drive.

That's a good question! I have a relatively new Del Morino Centurian and the manual is just as vague as yours.
I have maybe 10-20 hours on mine so far... I think I will measure the deflection between the pullies as a baseline for future reference.

from Goodyear or the Gates rubber company through amazon or a reliable reliable auto parts dealer.
They come with paper instructions on how to use the V belt tension gauge to properly adjust the V belts.

Thanks. Found a better manual than came with the mover. It had a full parts break down. Not much on belt tension though. Waiting on my tension gauge to arrive.
