delco remy generator low voltage

I have a Ferguson F40 with a Delco Remy generator, what is the proper repair for this unit?

I have a local starter/generator shop I take mine to for rebuilds. If the armature is good, Les will rebuild it for around $50.00, including new bearings, brushes, and clean up the armature, and a new paint job, with a 1 yr. warranty.

If it's a run of the mill GM 10SI alternator, any local FLAPS will have rebuilts for around $30. Just replaced one on my Ditch Witch.
