A replacement for the old JD and probably one of the Fords. It'll also keep the farm work going while the L4300 is on the backhoe.
This is actually the first time I got one delivered; trailered the first two home myself. With a new truck, and all, ET was happy to do it.
Looked at a JD5103 (price right, but lacked confidence), M7040HDC (way too expensive), M5040HD (still too expensive) and then got a good deal on this. Sort of a demo unit, I guess. It's got 5 hours on the clock.
A little smaller and less muscular than I wanted, but at least it won't trash my implements...and it'll fit on the trailer.
Gonna try and pull some stumps with it at my Dad's while the ground's soft. Then it's off to the farm.
