I thought about trying that but I was afraid it would just ride up on top of the old hardpacked snow and ice. I'll give it a try next time. One thing I did try was taking the pin out of the tilt adjustment on the blade. It actually seemed to work pretty well and I didn't have to worry about having the 3pt level. The blade would just tilt itself to match the slope of the road. The only problem I can forsee would be if one corner really dug in it would cause the blade to tilt very steeply and dig in deeper. I'll have to keep messing with it to see what happens.
