Quick update. After being frustrated by the box blade getting hung up on weenie little stumps, I went back over them with a $160 TractorSupply subsoiler and it was like night and day! Just line 'er up, drop the 3pt about 2' back and let it rip...literally. If the tractor stops moving forward, just tug up the 3pt and inch forward at the same time. Probably grind a edge into the front of the subsoiler to cut the bigger roots. Didn't try on anything over 4", but you could probably pull 2 a minute with the thing if they are close to each other.

Does anyone have the mmm. for the ct225. Just wondering what size it is and how you like it?

I have a brand new one!
They are 66"s
On the 225 you will be doing most all your cutting in low range.
I am very impressed with the quality of cut they give.

Thanks for the reply. I saw the mmm on a used ct112 it seemed to be super heavy duty. How come the web site or books don't offer any information on them?

Bobcats site is lacking in information, in my humble opinion

If I remember correctly, the CT225, CT230, and CT235 are all the exact same frame and transmission. Only the engine size is different. And as most people say, power makes all the difference.

on the ct225 which i had the 66" mower stinks! not enough power so you will be in low for sure. Just sold my 225 for that very reason!

Jcims, I think the source of the rattling noise might be the loader. On mine the pins that hold the loader stand arms, or what ever you call them, will rattle at certain rpms of the motor. I think your when you push the clutch it might change the load on the motor to vibrate them. I have heard of guys taking the arms right off if you don't plan to take the loader off if you cannot stand the noise.

I really like my 335 though. No problems with the tractor, just a issue with the dealer once. I was at your stage once deciding between the 235 and 335.
