In NE CT they are coming back strongly. It is fun to watch my dog point at them for a while and when she doesn't get any respect, then she just chases them. I often wonder what she would do if she caught one, but they are too fast for her and usually too far away. This time of the year the deer are driving her crazy when they graze in the back yard. When she get outside, they go in one direction and she goes in the other barking. Neither learn.... they are back an hour later and the cycle repeats itself the next day. It is the porcupine that I worry about, they don't move fast for a dog, only me when I am chasing it with the shovel trying to beat it over the head!! Now, that is a very funny sight /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Were Yoap & Yoap (aka Yip & Yap) the auctioneers?

There was another FFA auction last week north of Menominee Michigan.

No, it was not a Yoap and Yoap sale. They do the Gillet WI FFA sale in the sring, should be coming up soon. Last year they had some brand new Scotts 16 hp 42 inch riders at Gillet, and they sold for around $1100. I had bought the same machine 7 months earlier for $1900 with tax from Home Depot. I really didn't need to see that.

What I like about Yoap compared to some of the other outfits, is they walk along instead of using the back of a truck and I find it much easier to hear them over the load speaker. They also move right along and go fast, which I like as a buyer.

I'm going to another auction this Sat. looking for cedar posts and 3pt saw rig.
