Got sick of dragging my chains out every other time I get on the tractor. I was leaving the little one on the floorboard. That got a little hairy when I was working on a muddy hillside and it slid under the differential lock pedal. I had my hands doing three things and both feet working. Had to stop and move the chain, wasnt a real good place to have hands off the wheel.
I looked around for a metal box, I dont have a welder, torches or any of that stuff. I do have a sawzall and a grinder /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I asked at work what they were going to do with some old payphone pedestals. The answer was junk them. Soooooo..
The attachment is the bottom of a payphone ped with a 15 foot, 12 foot and a 6 foot chain in it. So far it works great. The 6 footer is just tossed on top since its the one that is used most. The 12 goes in first and the 15 in second. You have to pull the 15 first but if I am not using the 6 then I am using the 15 so it works out.
