Someone posted a while back about the setting of the skids on the KK tiller. I tried to set mine at the deepest setting last week and found the same as this other poster, that there is no way you can put it at what appears to be the deepest settings because various bolts and other parts of the tiller are in the way.

So I set them as deep as I could (one side would go deeper than the other side, but I set them the same of course). I tried it out and found the tiller will go deeper than I thought it should originally, buried to the point where the tailgate is horizontal out the back side of the tiller.

So, even though it appears you can't set the skids at the maxiumum depth, the tiller will still bury itself. No problem....
