I've got one of those (bought it in California a couple years ago - was it legal then?).
It works OK; overall I'm not impressed with any fuel jug that's got a spring-loaded tip like that, but at least this one has the spring action in line with the weight of the jug, so if you've got clearance you can just flip it over and have it stand on the spout and let gravity keep it open and gurgling as it flows (slowly) out.
I just posted a new thread as I've been investigating another fuel can to replace the junk I've got right now.
