Problem with BX-1850 and BX-2350.

Kubota knows they have a design flaw. The area where the rear fender attaches to the main deck-outside in to first bolt-flexes and will crack. I have a crack that is about 12” in length that covers the entire distance.

Kubota knows about this and is engineering a fix. Expect a recall for all these units.

Just curious, where did you get your info??

Your dealer perhaps?

I got the same info from my dealer, also they are supposed to be working on a fix for the reverse issue. I even had a call from a field rep on the reverse issue so I think that one is valid for sure.

I am curious how long this has been a known problem by Kubota?

I sent a note to my dealer asking for RCA (root cause analysis), CAR (corrective action report) and time line.

I suppose we will see how much Kubota and Intel have in common...

Very touchy when stopping going back. Makes for a jerky ride until you get used to it (I guess). I've only had mine for two days.

VERY JERKY! Even with FEL it jerks hard when you stop reverse. Not very smart on a hill.

It is downright dangerous !!!!! The field rep said it cannot be corrected with external adjustments at all, I tried and and found he was right so we just wait for the fix.

I would not hold my breath for a recall from Kubota on anything. Ever.

But they do seem to make good on fixes after-the-fact. I guess that's OK, but it would be cool for them to pick up on these things during initial testing. Maybe all their testers are 75# mini-me's that are unaffected by whiplash.
