Yeah, Reuters is reporting that he fired 154 rounds in less than five minutes, which would be pretty hard to do if he only had the 3 30 round magazines with him.

I have qualified on courses of fire where we had to move, shoot 12 rounds with a reload of six rounds in 20 seconds or less. If you shot that part of the course is 20 seconds you were pretty slow but even that rate of fire is 180 rounds in five minutes. That course of fire was designed for and used by revolvers or auto loads limited to six rounds per magazine. Frankly most people should be doing that part of the course in 15 seconds which is 48 rounds a minute or 384 rounds in five minutes. Again from a six shooter.

At some point there should be a real release of information on the incident like there was regarding VT. It will be interesting to see the facts.
