Hello, new to the site, recently bought a 1988 deutz allis 7085 with a 465 loader. I only have about three hours on the tractor so far and really like it compared to my 2010 Massey 1532 compact it replaced. The only issue I’m having is with the loader joystick. I was raising a bundle of shingles to a roof and as I was tilting the bucket up the joystick popped and went loose side to side. After looking at it I found that the joystick has to balls with flat sides that twist into a slotted socket that slide through the levers that control the loader. I put it all back together and it keeps popping out as the socket is worn. I have looked everywhere for a part number or diagram but haven’t had any luck. Just wondering if anybody has any ideas on part number or place I could get the part? Thanks for any help.

Have you tried calling some of the parts places found online to see if they have any suggestions where to find this part? Otherwise if you are handy, or know someone who is, with a small welder, grinder and drill press you might be able to repair the part...?? Or take it to someone with a lathe or machine shop and they can likely fabricate a new one.
Just some suggestions. Hopefully someone here has some other/better suggestions. Please keep us posted as to what you find out.
