I have a Deutz D4006 tractor which belonged to my Grandfather I'm trying to repair. Its the only item I have from the farm that was sold off a few months ago that I cherished greatly. I'm in need of a rocker arm and a exhaust valve. Any help or information on trying to locate the part would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for time.

The 912 series was built from 1968 ?? untill the 90's, when the emission standards killed the air cooled Deutz (and the 2 stroke Detroit as well)

You may find them in hundreds of industrial applications, so many industrial engine shops can aquire parts for them.

Very ironic about your farm, I'm going thru the samething here in Pennsylvania. My grandfather passed away in 2002, and his 130 06 was used a a pulling tractor and destoryed and sold off this past October (by my cousin/brother). By some miracle I was able to buy it back for an outragous price, in pieces, but it's coming home Tuesday. I have the resouces to have the engine majored and it will be plowing my new farm in March.

You need to talk to Steve Kramer in Palms, MI 810-376-4731, he and his brother used to have a dealership in the 70's and they still do lots of repair. Also Google Dr. Deutz, he's in MO and has access to lots of parts.

The previous poster was correct the 912 engine is easy to get parts for, but make sure someone that knows how to work on Deutz puts it back together, it's not a Ford 302 by any means.

The Deutz guys I mentioned will be helpful for all the other parts you may need, but in my experience with Deutz, that's not many.

We had a DX 160, 2x 130 06 one old and one new style and a 60 06. Plus the full line of hay equipment.

Best of Luck...

Randy
