Dexter boom pole

A friend gave me a Dexter 3500# trailer axle with the spindle broken off. Using it and some other scraps I built this boom pole.



Total cost, about $10.00

Looks solid as heck.

I bet it is even more sturdy than my second hand store bought pole and you have lots less benjamins invested.

Nice work adapting that trailer frame.
