Did Deere change the regen on 2020 tractors?

I was at a closed dealership tonight looking at new 3046r and 4044m tractors. The thing I noticed was the chrome steel hood insert for the regen was gone on half of the tractors. The tractors without that hood insert were later serial numbers. I was curious if they changed the regen process or what? Does anyone know what the deal is?

I'm looking to upgrade my current tractor and want to know if the leftover 19 are different before I talk to the dealer.

They had two 3039r tractors there, and one had the chrome hood bezel for regen and one didn't. The tractors looked the same. The 4044m had no hood bezel just a filler plate to cover the hole.
I am not sure.
