I just noticed that the MTD web site no longer lists Cub Cadet as a product. CubCadet.com is now a web site but lists only 1000 and 2000 models. Are there no more 3000 series tractors? I don't recall seeing anything about these changes.

No your right, the 3000 is dead. My dealer said because at those prices people went to zero turns

I had thought they killed the 3K's for the 2011 model year, but it must have taken until 2012 to run out of production. The GTX2100 is the new "Cadillac" of the Cub garden tractors and should be given it's ~$4100 with no deck. Watch.. given the current state of affairs, this model will be short lived too. As usual, very few will spend $5000+ for something like this.

When did MTD part ways with Cub Cadet? They are no longer listed as one of their products. Are the bigger lines (5000, 7000 etc>) gone now since the split with Yanmar?

Yep I guess they are putting their money in the z turns.
