I just wanted to thank everyone for their input. After spending HOURS researching previous posts I decided to buy the tc35d sight unseen. As mentioned in a earlier post, the wife liked the larger size of the JD 990, but it is not available with hydro. While my dealer did not have a tcd33d or tcd35d in stock, she had a used tc33 with fel and a tc40. Up to this point I was sold on the 33d. After comparing the two by size I liked the larger tc40, but I still needed hydro tranny for the wife. the dealer had located a 33d, but it was 400mi away and would take a few days for delivery. Like a kid I could not wait THAT LONG. I had been calling around checking on prices and models on hand and had been quoted a price of $16,400 for a 35d that was in stock at a dealer about 110 mi from my house. My dealer had given me a quote of $15135 for the 35d, r4 tires and 50 hr service delivered 66miles. She had the tractor the next day and delivered it the next morning at that price. I love this machine. If I had known that these things rode and drove this smooth I would have never bought my older kubota. Now I need a larger finishing mower and box blade. I like what I've read of the First Choice line. After calling these people I found that the nearest dealer is 80-90 miles away. I asked if i could order through my newfound dealer. No problem. while not farmilar with First Choice she gave me a great price, but NH blue was not in stock. I'll put a deposit and wait. Again thanks to all who contribute to tractorbynet, for I am sure I would have paid too much and not been satisfied.
