So, If I let the tractor sit for a week and I do not use it, then it will start up nice and happy then after about 45 seconds it will die out. If I throw the choke on I can get it to last a few seconds longer.
For the past 5 months I've just been taking the carb apart, cleaning what looks like nothing, then putting it back together and it works until I let it sit for a week.
Now, because it shuts off after about 45 seconds I would assume that it is the float valve in the carb and the pin is getting stuck. (My pin is aluminum with a rubber tip)
However, if I let the tractor sit for 10 minutes or so, I can start it up again for another 45 seconds. Making me thing that the pin is not getting stuck in the carb.
But at this point my mind wanders around several directions and I am confused.
Any idea's?
It would be really nice if I didn't have to take the carb apart whenever I need to mow the grass.
