About to do the two year cooling system flush. Dealer said to make sure to use JD compatible antifreeze. Of course none of the major brands I looked at say anything about JD. Regular 50/50 Prestone is what I guess I'll use unless someone knows something better?

While I suspect that my Kubotas came with regular Prestone antifreeze, and the manuals only said to use "permanent" antifreeze, in many cases diesels, apparently particularly those with wet sleeve engines, need the SCA, either additive or precharged to prevent cavitation damage. I'd suggest you ask your dealer before using regular Prestone, or just play it safe, as I did, and use a precharged antifreeze. The one I used can be seen here.

That is what I have always used. Then once a year I recharge the coolant with a few onces of John Deere coolant conditioner to avoid cavitation and corrosion like Bird mentioned.
