I know this is a topic of much debate but I am curious if anyone with the regen woes has tried any Diesel Fuel additives experienced any positive or negative results?

If you do, or will start using it would be great to share your results with everyone.

I don't have a model that regens but I'm sure one day I may.

I myself have been using PRI-D and PRI-G for my gasoline engines, but I will likely change since there isn't allot of data on it and from what I have been reading about Stanadyne & Diesel Kleen I will give one of them a long run.

I have found several companies that have products that specifically reference tier 4 engines.

Here are a few links.

I use Power Service Diesel Kleen....one formula for warm weather and a different one for cold weather. Recommended by my dealer. Have had no issues with the regen cycle and it has not interfered with whatever I was doing.

I've used a couple different biocide type fuel cleaners. Seems my black fuel tank creates water when left less than full. Caused all sorts of regen problems. An occasional dose allows the system to work as it should.

I'm using XPD Optics's-Lube products in two diesel vehicles and my XR 4140 HC. Been using diesel additives for almost two decades. I think they have some important benefits like increased lubricity, increased cetane, decreased carbon deposits etc. Guess it depends on the additive package your diesel fuel has. For me......it's added peace of mind.....knowing I'm feeding my diesels the best fuel I have access to. YMMV

I use the winter version when we get to below zero temps.

I'm in the same boat, I run Power Service Diesel Kleen (2 formulas as mentioned depending on weather). My dealer didn't say anything but I ran a lot of diesel through my Volkswagen TDI and always used these products. I wait for them to go on sale and figure it's cheap insurance.

Just went through my 100 hour regen a couple weeks back with no issues. Creeping up on 130 hours already so I'm sure I'll have another regen experience around 150 hours.

This is the product I use in my OTR truck, F350 personal truck and my tractor never had a issue and they all run like a dream.
