Diesel fuel transfer tank bottom plug - plastic?

Is a plastic bung plug with teflon thread sealant tape OK or should I put in a metal /teflon taped threaded plug?

Tank is 240G capacity & I'll put in 150.

Plastics fine.. Remember they make diesel fuel cans outta plastic now.

At work we have a 500 gallon waste oil tank.. it has a 2" plastic pvc threaded plug with teflon tape on it screwed in... never had a problem with it and t has been in yse for years...
Vinyl and nylon are some pretty tuff materials..
