john deere 755
I have a JD 755 and the rear diifferential lock on the left foot rest is stuck down and will not raise up. The tractors left rear wheel will turn then lock up in forward only. If I put slight pressure on it seems to allow the wheel to turn. Any ideas what to look for?

Don't know the 755 specifically, but a common method of disengaging the diff lock is by means of a simple coil spring. When you step on the pedal, the spring stretches and the right/left claws mate (engaged). When you release the pedal the spring pulls back to its normal length, which in turn separates the claws (disengaged). If yours is of that design, I'd say you probably need a new spring.
