Couple questions:

Stopped by TSC and Rural King today looking for some quick pins to put in the adjustable lower arms on the 3 pt. All that it in there now is a couple 5/16 bolts just dropped in place. Thought I could find some hitch pins or such to use instead. This way I can adjust the width as needed without tools.

The lower arms a square tubing with couple slots abut mostly holes. All the hitch pins I find are not long enough. Should measure but should be at least 3 inch. What do others use?

The other question is with the bushings. Top link is a 7/8 pin so cat 1 and lower is a sloppy cat 2 (1 1/8 pin has slop)
I'm seeing 2 different 1 to 2 bushings. One has a larger hole and thinner wall the the other. Why different and where used?

Top link bushing is 1x3/4 as the Cat I toplink pin is 3/4. Draft link bushing is 7/8 x1-1/8 as the Cat I draft link pin is 7/8.

If you can't find hitch pins that are long enough. Regular grade 5 or grade 8 machine bolts. Drill small hole down on the threaded end - use hairpin clip in hole. I get all my hitch pins at the local Kubota dealer.

I'm Class 2 - top link and lower arms. I have bushings - man, do I ever have bushing. Thick wall/big hole - thin wall/big hole - same with smaller hole. Also wide ones and narrow ones. I KNOW I must uses them at some point or other. Otherwise - why would I have them all............

The bushings on your top link and lower arms see no "action". Soo... the important thing - does the bushing have a tight fit. I.E. - easily slide on - no wobble.

I have a hydraulic top link and had a welding shop cut the top CAT 2 eye off and they installed, what I think is a CAT 2 lower eye to give me more room to pivot. The CAT 1 to 2 bushing fits good on the upper pin, but is a bit sloppy on the eye of the cylinder

You may have to go to the manufacture for that or measure the pin on the other side. Different tractors have different types of stabilizers for the hitch. Your question is really tractor specific and not cat 1 or 2 specific.

Was working on my JD 5425 toady, getting it ready for sale, and it to has stabilizer bars. They have square hitch pins on it. They are easy to find, just need to right diameter. This ebay one is just for reference

Was surprised to see that those do not have clips to hold them in when I got my L3560. Have not lost one yet so maybe they don't need them.

They do have clips on the bottom (items 100 and 220)
