Differences & Similarities Between NH and LS Tractors, ie. XR4046HC As Excample

I understand that LS makes some of the NH Tractors under contract with LS. I was curious as to the differences or similarities, using LS's XR4046HC compared to a comparable NH model. I've also heard 2 other surprising things:
1. NH is more expensive for a comparable LS equivalent
2. LS has better fit and finish than NH, as LS is making these to NH specs.

Don't know if any of this is accurate. Was hoping that some of you NH owners could comment and set the record straight.

I own a LS J2023 which is the New Holland Boomer 20. Differences as listed -all in favor of LS
$2000.00 less
Heavier built FEL
More FEL lifting capacity
Better routing of hydraulics
More standard features

LS does make some models, the new Boomer 2 digit models such as the Boomer 35 and some Workmasters. The NH is more expensive and has less standard features than the LS model such as no remotes like antlers125 said. Many NH dealers have taken on a second brand or dropped NH all together. That is why NH is struggling in the CUT market, especially if there is an LS dealer close. The local dealer dropped NH and the second closest is going out of business. It's not because LS does not make a quality tractor, they do. It's that NH dealers can't compete anymore.

I now have a 40-60 mile drive to a NH dealer. I had talked to both of these dealers who were exclusive NH after NH started using LS. Both stated they would never take on another line of tractors. Now both have another line of tractors. I have started using Messick's for parts and hope I don't need any dealer work.

For my LS R3039, I just picked up today the toolbox mounting "kit" from my local NH dealer for a Boomer 30/35 and mounted it. Fits perfectly. Instructions were excellent and included torq specs for re-torquing the ROPS bolts. (If you're looking for this toolbox mount, go with the less expensive part number - not the kit; it cost me $68.50 without tax and included everything the so-called kit has except for the $30-higher price tag. New Holland PN for the mount I got is 710990076.)

One disadvantage I see of dealers getting out of NH is less readily available parts for my LS 3039!

Just to be clear. LS does not make cab models for NH.

Why would that be true?

Since LS made several of the NH tractors, I have two options for readily available identical parts - a NH dealer about 4 miles from me and my LS dealer which is about 25 miles from me.
