Oil & Fuel Different oil filters for cab 4720

I am ready for the first oil change and noticed the operators manual says there is a different part number for the cab tractor (RE519626) vs. the non cab tractor (RE518977).

Why would there be any difference in oil filters for cab vs. non cab tractor? When I told the parts department I needed a filter I never specified cab or non cab. I just don't understand why the two different part numbers.

The RE518977 is not a good part number anymore. John Deere has substituted the RE519626 in it's place. I believe the RE518977 was slightly larger in size which caused some clearance issues in some applications. The new number filter meets or exceeds all the specifications of the older number.
