I'm in the middle of a brake job on my Kubota B5200. The differential is making a rubbing sound, and I don't know whether to dig into that part of the machine, or put the brake back together and hope for the best.
Last time I ran the tractor, I got some squeaking that sounded like other times when I have left the parking brake on. But the brake was off. Now, with the covers off and the rotor cleaned out, there is still a rubbing sound when I turn the free axle. I have a cell video, 12 MB. It's on an outside website since this one does not take mp4 attachments:

The attached ZIP is the audio track. I turn the free axle twice clockwise, then twice counterclockwise. The rumble at the end is me turning the phone off.
Can somebody take a listen and tell me if this is the normal sound, or an indication that I need to dig into the differential?
Fluid is a little low and white, so I have to change that anyway. The tractor is a 1983. I bought it last year for maintenance of 2 miles of private gravel road in my neighborhood. It had 410 hours at purchase, now around 430. I've fixed a seized glowplug and a snapped steering knuckle, replaced the 3 point turnbuckles, and am gearing up to replace all the rubber boots this summer. The seat is new, so I think it was probably kept outside through last winter. So far it's not a bad deal.
