There's a pond near me, man dug it right before hurricane George came through, so I named it Lake George. LD, I suggest you try to think up a name for ye pond.
LD If ya want more DEER let me know I can shoot half a dozen & ship em down to ya! lol.... OK if ya want come shoot em yourself...
My creek gets flood waters way too often to make much a hole for pond. I have a few spots dug down against bedrock that are full for frogs and crawdads. Occasionally a fish will wash down out of the up hill pond... I had 5 or 6 almost eating size bluegills in one hole a few years back then a raccoon got fat or a blue harron lol...
Well, the 2.5" or so of rain we got last night finally filled here up.
Up til this, we have only had a few teaser showers. But nothing enough to make the big pond fill up and overflow into the creek. Nor the neighbors pond which also feeds the creek.
I did learn that the neighbor must use a good bit more aqua-shade than me, cause where the two overflows merge together, his was MUCH bluer. Good for my small pond in the back though:thumbsup:
