Digital Dashboard

Having owned two Kubotas (BX2660 & B2620) with analog (I guess you call it) dashboard dials, I gotta tell you all that this digital screen sucks....(B2650). I can hardly read it while operating in daylight. My B2620 dials are readily readable at a glance and the hour meter can be read without turning the ignition on later when I'm making operating notes for the day's usage.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of these digital gauges either. More junk to break.

I wish my BX2200 had a tach and a real oil pressure sensor rather than the "ez-checker" lamps... But I digress -- if something goes wrong it's a cheap easy fix!

I can read the 2370 OK, dust on the screen is my only issue which I wash off so as not to scratch the plastic.
Maybe they have improved and mine does have a tacho which is analogue, digital fuel and temp gauge and hour meter.

A company called Tiny Tach makes a digital Tach that works by clamping a sensor on a fuel line. No clue how it works, but the idle and max speeds both seem to be what the manual claims them to be. Mine is 15 yrs old and works flawlessly.

That sounds like what I use but it is wrapped around the sparkplug or coil wire.

How on earth would that work on a fuel line?

The sensor is a tight fit (held together with screws) on a metal line near the injectors. You have to specify the OD of the fuel line when you order. Directions say to sand the paint from the fuel line, installit, then paint over the sensor and line. The sensor has wires coming from it, back to the unit.

Other than that, it's magic as far as I know (grin). Seems to work well though.
