Digital display on the 2660

Shazam! A few years back the tach/hr meter display on the 2660 disappeared on me. Today, it magically came up bright. Replacement cost a few yrs back was in the $400+ range, so I did without and kept up with oil etc more than was necessary. Nice to have it back.

Did it continue to accumulate hours even though you couldn't see it?
I'm thinking it probably did.

Yes it did continue. It would faintly come up on start-up, but impossible to read. I tried different lighting angles, in the dark, Flashlights.
