I'm getting a sweet deal from an old family friend on his haying equipment. One of the pieces is a NH Super 68 Hayliner baler. I know it is about 102 wide, but I neglected to measure it for length, figuring I could pull it up online. Well, I haven't been successful at finding the length...

I'm trying to plan the moving of it along with the storage, and not knowing the length is a bit of a problem. The guy I am getting it from needs a walker to get around now, so asking him to go out in the barn & measure it isn't an option.

Can some good soul measure theirs and send me the length, either by post of private message?

Also, he does have the manual, so when I get it (probably in a month or two), I'd be happy to scan it at work and pass along a PDF of it to anyone interested. Just P.M. me to ask... The file will be huge, but the tradeoff is free download versus $50 to buy a copy... :)

Thanks!

mine is in a hay field 10 miles away but I believe it is about 13 feet long with the rear shoot lifted up. My hay shed is 16 feet deep and there is about 2 feet or so to walk around the front. I will measure it when I get out there but its probablly going to be sat.

Mine is a little over 13 feet but it is a #67, I don't know what the difference is but the toung on trac's looks longer. Sorry I got the number wrong, too many things floating around in my head I guess.

Model 67 balers had a shorter tongue. On the late 67's ,You could order the longer tongue like mine. I believe the early 68 had the long one but wouldn't surprize me if their are some kicking around with short ones also. I'd bank on a 16 ' building with overhangs anyway, could back in a load of hay after a long day. Trac

Thanks everyone for the responses. My initial concern is getting the thing relocated to our place in Pepperell. More specifically, being able to plan properly for the length & width required on trailer(s) for the equipment (baler, rake, tedder, and manure spreader). This gives me the missing piece of info I needed!
