Dimensions wanted for deere dump cart

Ok folks, need some help... I am building a dump cart for my deere 316 from some scrap I have laying around. (Will post pictures and text when I finish.)

I want to build one like the older metal dump carts that Deere made (the 8 bushel one(?!), or something like that...). Have the sub frame and the dump mechanism down, but am looking for the dimensions of the box.

If anyone has one, or knows the size, am looking for the length, width and height of the cargo section, could you post them please. Pictures would be cool too if not too much trouble. My initial idea had been 36" long x 30" wide with removable sides 14" high.

I have one in storage. Must be about that size. I removed the box and used the running gear for making a two-behind spray tank.

If no response sooner, I could dig it out and make some measurements. Don't recall the number on the cart offhand. Been about 12 years.

The "book" box dimensions for the model 80 cart are as follows:
Length---42"
Width----30"
Height----11"

Box Capacity---8 cubic Ft.

Rated load cap.--900lbs.

Mine is an early model, although not the oldest. First ones used 4.80 x 8 tires, mine has 16 x 6.50 x 8 tires.

The model 8HD used the same box, but newer style undercarriage.

Thanks guys! I knew that there would be somebody out there who had the info handy.

When I laid what I thought the box dimensions should be out on the floor, it seemed too big. Guess it will look better once I get it framed in and on the wheels.
