dipstick knob to small and hard to get to

i dont know about the rest of the tractors but my new l3301 dipstick is so short and in a tight spot i can barely get it out to check
am i alone here with this problem?

No dipstick issues but the oil fill cap on my LS P7010 is located behind the FEL main frame so it is very hard to get to and very hard to unscrew also. I suppose the FEL designer didn't account for the oil fill spout in locating the frame. You also have to have a very flexible funnel spout to make it around behind the frame and out so you can actually pour in some oil.

Well - my engine oil dipstick & fill hole are easy. Its the hydro dipstick & fill hole that take a Houdini to get to & use. I've barked my knuckles more than quite a few times using the hydro dip stick. I now put a glove on that hand. And I have a funnel with a loooong flexible spout.
