I have 44 acres North of Collins with chicken houses on it and somewhere between 12 and 20 acres of it needs to be cleaned out. I have had three loggers and a chipping operation look at it and all have said that its too small for them to use(mostly vines, privvy hedge, and small hardwood). It is bounded by 1200 feet of the Okatoma and I would like to clean out the underbrush and get the river accessible and make some pastureland out of it. My tax man is saying that Uncle Sam is going to be very good to me this year since I built two new chicken houses last year. I will get a full years depreciation on 4 weeks income from them. If he is correct, I am going to take some of the money and clear the land. I have owned the land for 3 years and was only able to get to the river once by wading a small feeder stream to where it emptied into the river. Wish I could give you a more definite tract size.
