Bobcat CT335 + John Deere 1023e (former owner of Kubota BX2370-1, John Deere 5210, and Ford 2000)
My local dealer told me this week that Bobcat was dropping the CT335 from their line up.

I don't know whether to be sad, or happy that my tractor may become collectible as Bobcat's first discontinued tractor model.:D

Test drove one today at local dealer...that is a substantial machine!

WOuld not seem to make sense to discontinue?

I am quite pleased with mine. The dealer says it is a good seller for him also.

I wonder if anyone has caught wind of Kioti changing the DK35SE in their line-up? of if this is strictly a Bobcat decision?

Wow not sure what to think of this news???? I just love my CT335 I think its the perfect fit not to small not to big as long as they keep parts for them i guess it will be ok.

I talked to my local dealer today and it is true. He told me there were about 200 machines left in stock and that when they were sold that would be it. looked at the 335. It sure is a nice machine. He told me that the jump from the 235 far outsold the 335, just didn't sell enough to make it worth keeping I guess. Hope this doesn't continue as I still seriously consider them as a front runner in my future purchases based on quality and price.

It boiled down to the low price difference between the 335 and the 440. So many buyers looking at the 335 decided to move up to the 440 for little extra HP and larger load & lift height capacity in the loader. Parts support on this model will not be a problem since vast majority of parts are the same as in 400 series models.

Actually it is probably a good time to buy the CT335 if they are clearing them out. The 2 pedal HST, switched pto, clutch free operation, and extra loader capacity are nice advantages over the CT235.

My dealer was negotiable on a cash deal and the CT335 did not cost me any more than the best CT235/CK35 quotes that I received. The 440 that I considered priced close to 3000 more, and I didn't need the extra.

My need was primarily gaining more manueverability than my larger tractor offers without giving up so much capacity that I would be disappointed with my decision to get a smaller tractor. The CT335 has been a good fit for me, but then again I have always had a knack for being different than most.

Maybe it was guys like me that were keeping the margin too low on these units. They are probably figuring that they can sell more 235s at a higher margin without the 335 in the lineup.

selling more 200 series at a slightly inflated price across the board is exactly what he thinks bobcats goal to be. it will cost him more and cost then be passed on to you and I. I guess the old saying "strike while the iron is hot" really applies here for anyone interested in that size tractor as like you said you could most likely get a sweet deal right now.

Really what it boils down too is that Daedong decided that they were no longer going to build it due to pricing. Tje CK35 is real close in price and so is the DK40SE model, this is what you run into when you have so many overlapping horsepowers even though they maybe in diffrent classses than one another it's all about economics.
