Disappearing posts and threads

Anyone have a problem with posts and threads disappearing? Its happended to me a lot, most recently two threads I started, one about using hay tarps to cover round bales, and another about home-made round bale-feeders, got several replies, even some photos attached with ideas, and then *poof* they were gone.

Can't find them by searching on keyword, can't find them by clicking on my name to "see all posts", nor clicking on the names of some of the people that actually replied to one of my threads?

Is this a known problem? or are my posts just so boring they are being terminated /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Sometimes posts mysteriously disappear if they get high-jacked and turn sour, or hot topics come up like politics or religion. I have had a few disappear myself. Then again if Junkman replies to them they just die, period.....

OK I may be kidding a bit about the Junkman part. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There is a problem where the search has stopped finding anything from about 1:30a on the 2nd of August.

This is a test....... this is a test if I can kill this thread..... Please don't post to this thread so I can prove that I can single handedly kill any thread.. Prior test results have proving this to a almost certainty. If this thread should disappear, I know who to blame. If it gets closed, I shall know who to blame. Well its weird then...if I click on "who's online", click on my name, and then see "all users posts", it shows the last post I made back in June...as you guys have linked for me, apparently the posts are still there, I just can't seem to navigate to them by any of the usual means.....

I am glad the threads aren't gone but somethings not quite working right someplace....I'll just need to find another way to keep track of threads I am participating on...

Sure would like a "see all my posts" link on top of each page. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Viewing "all your posts" also fits into this category. I reported this problem (Show All User's Posts - Lag), but no one is working on correcting it. Both of the threads you are talking about were written AFTER 8/2/05.

On the bottom of the thread, click on the "Favorite Thread". From there, you can access it from "My Home" which is on the top of every page. You can remove it from your favorites from either "My Home" or by clicking on the "Favorite Thread" again as it's a toggle switch.

I wouldn't bet on that Dave. I'm sure that Hakim has it on his plate, but these guys are right in the middle of a move to San Diego. You know what's it like when you're in the middle of one of those! Give 'em a chance. They'll take care of it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
