Yall know the how some of the big disc have a screw crank so you can move the blades from straight to aggresive and so forth.Do they make a kit that can be welded on for ones that dont have em im trying to get pieces and parts and just build my own im thinking some 1/2 plate steel welded to the top disc arm with a screw similar to on a C clamp that has a rotating foot and maybe a nut welded to the disc frame to run the screw in and out i dunno if itll work has anybody tried this thanks

Instead of the screw many more disc companies just use a system of pinning the centers pivoting on the outer support, this allows you to remove the pin, change the angle and install the pin in a different hole.

Screws just like those used to level the disc often get rusty and unusable.

Many disc harrows are set on one angle only!!!!!

yeah thats how mine is set up you pull a pin yank and shove the arms beat em whatever to move em thats why i wanna put a screw on it so itll be easier to adjust

The screw crank is a great idea.
Make sure to have something to prevent the screw from "walking" when you're using it in the field.
You could also slip a rubber bellows over the threaded part to keep the dirt off of it.

Most are set up so you can pull the pin and move the tractor forward / backward to change the angle with less effort.

Maybe you could use a trailer tongue jack mounted horizontally?

The one I have has a big bolt welded to the frame and a threaded rod with crank handle. The big bolt has a grease fitting threaded into it and the threaded rod has grease, (and dirt), along the threads.

Look at this one from everything attachments, just select the first pic in the bottom row and then hold your pointer over the large photo and it will enlarge the area you are pointing at so you can see the adjuster better, Pretty simple to make, go to a local farm and ranch or maybe even a lowes or home depot, and buy a couple of feet of 1" all thread and a couple of nuts and a few other odds and ends depending on your set-up and you should be good to go. Worst case you can order the stuff from some place like Mcmaster-Carr if need be.

Hey countrybumpkin, I like that. I think I'm gonna steal that idea for the offset adjustment on my rearblade. I have to do something before I seriously throw my shoulder or back out and installing remotes & a cylinder just won't be within my budget for some time yet.
