disc mower for use on 30 HP tractor

I have a chance to get a used Taarup disc mower, though am wondering if my 30 HP tractor will have enough power for it. The mower has 4 discs. The tractor has 25 HP at the PTO. Wondering if someone here has experience running a disc mower on a 30 HP tractor. Thank you in advance.

Not a direct answer but an answer you can use none the less. Main concern isn't HP it's weight. Drum and Disc mowers hang off the side of the tractor and put a big strain on the left front tire.....becoming airborne. Also the sheer weight as applied to the 3 pt and front end lift are also concerns.

How would I address the above? Connect your implement to your tractor and see before you buy!

Thanks for the information and the advice. I was thinking the same thing, about connecting it up to the tractor before buying it, though the mower is 20 miles away, and I don't have a trailer to get the tractor there. It will be up to the seller if he is willing for the mower to be brought to the tractor to be tried out before being purchased.

Here's a photo of the model of the mower. The model was first manufactured in 1968. The tractor in the picture looks to me like what would be a compact tractor today. Looks about the size of a Ford 30 HP.
The one I am looking at is weathered, but the seller has been using it and says it works fine. It looks to be in functional condition.
