Disc Plows show up on eBay from time to time. There are seven listed now. Several from Ken Sweet in Kentucky, as usual.

Disc Plow | eBay

Beside Monroe Tufline I do not know of another manufacturer producing new Disc Plows for compact tractors. Monroe attends most Ag Shows displaying and promoting their implements.

Ken Sweet is a Monroe Tufline dealer. He would likely give you a price and arrange a plow shipment to you in New York, direct from the factory in Mississippi.

This post would be more informative to the readership as a continuation of your thread from yesterday.

Why do you want a disc plow over a standard plow?

Piston,

I have a single bottom moldboard. I've often wondered if a disk plow would work better in rocky soil. What are your thoughts?

Perhaps its time for me to realize rocks are just rocks and only turn those areas with few rocks - ha,ha.

I don't know. I'm ashamed to say I've never once used my disc plow! That's why I was asking why would one go with a disc plow over a standard type :laughing::laughing:

I have a Leinbach and it's been a good one. Use to have a Hardee and it was really heavy duty! Bush Hog makes a nice one as well. Whatever you decide make sure it has sealed bearings.

Apparently it will not hang up in roots like a moldboard...maybe easier to use .
