I just went to my local kubota dealer in search of a blade brake for my T1400H lawn tractor. Try to imagine my horror when I was quoted a price of $57.84 for a new shoe. Can anyone suggest an internet site that discounts Kubota parts?
PS. I didn't buy the part. Instead, I'm going to try to install a small stainless steel hose clamp around the worn brake shoe to provide a new surface that will contact and stop the blade pully. I'll post the results later.
