I'm taking delivery of a 2011 XUV 855D next week. The base machine is more than the gas model. Here in southeastern PA I'm paying 650$ below the JD list price from the web "build your own" price. My wife is also a member of the american quarter horse assoc. and we are getting an additonal 300$ off. So total price is about 1000$ off. My dealer has added bulls**t charges for destination charge ($300) and dealer prep charges ($500) which are incredibly frustrating. JD's web page does mention the 300$ charge in small print. I could not negotiate around these as there are no close JD dealers beside this one. So the dealer is claiming that the discount is 1450$, but in reality it is only 650 given these charges. Hope this helps - you would think with the poor economy you might do better than I did. Good luck negotiating - Mike

I've picked up 825i yesterday it was a demo it listed for 14737.00 I got it for12400.00. It had been used at the state fair of Texas it had about 40hr on it. Haven't had a chance other than running around the farm for a couple hours to test it out. My son talk me into let him take it hunting thanksgiving weekend, I am sure it will come back fully tested and in one piece I hope.

Did they include hard doors at that price ? Heater is probably optional, don't believe that come with a/c.

Those add-on charges are what my dealer called "roll-on, roll-off". The dealer receives a unit that is more customer-ready than in the past. He claims the dealers asked for this, because they weren't getting enough compensation from the customer for all the pre-delivery assembly work needed. So instead Deere upcharges a fee that is far in excess of what the dealer would have gotten. Everyone wins except the customer. Typical Deere.

Deere dealer gave me a quote in August with 10 - 12% discount. There were no roll-ons, add-ons, setup, or shipping charges. This dealer doesn't play those games with tractors, equipment, or UTV's he sells.
