At one point, I considered getting the edger. However, on a visit to Tazewell, I looked at it closely, and decided not. It's very well built, as all PT stuff is. The issue for me was the massive size of the edging wheel--not exactly what I needed for edging beds and driveway.
As an alternative, I am still considering fabbing one. I mentioned it in a post quite awhile back. Basically, I have the trailer receiver adapter, and I was thinking of putting it to more versatile uses. The edger would be an angled section of 2" box stock with a small 12" disc hiller welded to it {HERE}. I would expect the whole dealy could be made-up for under $100. My problem is I have never done any welding. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Seems with articulated steering, it would be hard to keep the edger rolling smoothly on the line you wanted it to. I would like to here from anyone who has tried one though.
