I recently restored this, it was my brothers. The nice thing is, the tools can be swapped out for other types too.

Not certain the size of your machine. This is for garden tractors or small SCUTs. Something larger would need to be made otherwise for a bigger CUT machine.

I must be missing something. Are you saying you have built that unit or asking for ideas on such?

Not sure have ever seen a riper with disk blades to cover in the same implement. But sure there are out there, to many options not to be.

If you are building one as I think you are talking about rippers and blades to turn the soil to cover the trash; believe the HP required would surprise many people. If you are talking about an unit for say a single row you are about five feet wide. I would think you would want three rippers for that width. For certain two. Rippers depending on depth and ground need a good bit of HP. I pull two subsoilers with nothing else and it gives my 68 HP Kubota all it wants on our soil. Rock free for info. Now that is pulling them at least 18 inches deep to maybe 24.

Then to add blades to that I think you will basically at least a single gang disk axle of blades with it.

I may be way off what you are looking for but I would lean towards a ripper followed by disk heavy enough to cut and cover the crop debris.
