Disk scrapers

Anyone made these for a disk? I am having trouble with dirt clogging between the disks. It only happens in damp dirt areas of my property.

I've thought about this too but haven't tried it yet. I have a King Kutter disk that will plug on one or two gaps in the front gangs if the soild is too damp in areas. A month ago I noticed the front gangs were not tight like the rears, and some disks were loose enough to spin on their own. The axle nuts were already rusting in place so they were difficult to move. I removed the nuts to all four gangs, added never-seize, and retightened them really snug. Haven't tried them since, but I'm hoping that the disks will be less likely to plug up since they will be spinning as a group and will throw the damp clumps clear of the disks. If that doesn't solve it I might try to fab up some scrapers. There's not much to the scrapers I've seen on the older disks.

I made some up for my little 4' Brinly disk. They were nothing more than a piece of 1/8" x 1" x 1" angle iron 6 -8 inches long that was welded to a piece of flat 1/4" x 1 1/2" and bolted to the frame through existing holes. Nothing too complicated about them at all.
