Tractor
NH TT50A with rear remotes added
Well going to go sign papers for new tractor tonight, but it won't be JD. Went to NH, MF, Kioti, Mahindra, TYM, JD and everyone got back to me right away with pricing/availability EXCEPT JD! Very dissapointed in them, they didn't even seem like they wanted the sale, so they won't get it. Not going to say dealer name, as I don't believe in that, if you want to know, get in touch with me and ask me and I will tell you. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem or if it may have just been a bad week for them, as I did call them twice to try to get the quote.

Thanks,

Non-responsive dealers are not limited to any particular color of tractor. When/where I was looking it was New Holland that couldn't be bothered. All of these compact tractors are pretty good so I just figured it was their loss. One of the big reasons I went with JD was the dealer and how much they were willing to do. In the short time (5 months) I have had my tractor that has worked out pretty good.

Ed,
I agree, guess just had to vent a bit, sorry. I know it's that way, just so strange that they were the only ones this time! Seen it with car sales and truck sales too. I have 3 different dealers pretty close by, but JD was the closest so I gave them two different tries. Thanks again for letting me up on the soap box to vent!

+1

In fact, non-responsiveness is a significant part of why I have a Deere instead of a Kubota. It's not a manufacturer issue.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not down on the manufacturer at all. Have several Deere stuff as they are very close to me, just dissapointed in the dealer. Going to go talk with them to see if it was just a person problem or if something else is up. Have to go get some parts for the haybine and disk so good reason to talk to the owner.

I know about that venting thing. :D One of my very first posts was about the my "dealer experience" looking at what was available in my area up here in Washington. Boy did I whine:eek: But it did feel good.

This sounds like the same story I tell all my neighbors. One personally new the dealership owner I visited and said he was going to tell him about the incident the next day while we looked at my new tractor from another dealer. Mine is green, but brand doesn't matter when dealing with a potential customer. Till this day I still wonder what he was thinking. I was a bum, couldn't get a loan anyway (paid cash-jokes on him), or just checking prices. Anyway I'm sure it got back to one of the dealers that ignored me. Service after the sale was probably as good. Didn't need him. In this case I am the customer.
